My last days in Galt!

These are the culprits that pulled a scary April Fools Joke on me! When mom called to get mad at the family, who happened to be at the home? Yes! It was the sisters, saying goodbye. Mom is on the other end of the phone, I did not even say hello, just posed for a pic!

Moving day! Good thing we had the 15 passanger van, we filled it! And I mean, FULL!

Great Valentines Day!

Our ward had a PROM! It was for Valentines Day. The women all looked fabulous in their oh so pretty dresses! Some of the men even wore tux's! The best part was that the women even wore their dresses to church! I love this ward! There was some controversy over having the prom as some of the single women felt it was a couples thing and wouldn't go! So, we had the privilege of being their valentines, we even went to dinner with them at El Rodeo!

Our District Leader challenged us to think of something creative we could do on Valentines Day because not many would be home and we had a hard time making appts. So, we did a HEART ATTACK to these two sisters! They are hilarious! By far the best valentines day ever!!!

I had a "Marsha Brady" moment! I took a football to the face...instead of a broken nose- I got broken glasses! This is how I study!

I am so so so blessed to be here! Still surprises me that I'm on a mission! I absolutely LOVE it! Don't forget...The Church is TRUE!!!

We took the CHALLENGE!!

Our Zone went to Havenero Hots for lunch. After eating lunch, they bring out the haveneros and you eat it. I did not know what a havenero was, but I do now!!! It is the hottest, spiciest chili pepper! My mouth is on fire and my body hurts! We were not about to let the elders show us up! We even got t-shirts!
We had smiles on our faces at this point!

Man it is HOT!

I can't believe it! Did I just eat that?

Sisters on Bikes?!?

We are out of miles so we needed to find alternative modes of transportation. We tried walking for a day but it was very in-effective! We rallied together some bikes! The members thought we were crazy! What an adventure...petals falling off, flat tires, broken bikes and rain!


My bike has a name! Pink Angel!!!

My bike is the best! It's the Cadillac of bikes! It is an electric Beach Cruiser! All I have

to do is put in the key, twist the handle and I'm off! Hot rod style!!

Welcome to Galt! Sisters!

I do love Galt! There are amazing people here. On Sister Packs first day, we had dinner at a less active home. They are an older couple and live on a farm. We went out to help feed the 16 cows. We were in a little cart thing. Sis Bateman and I were hanging on for dear life in the back. (in our skirts!) It was fun and so hililarious! Have to admit, we were a tad bit nervous, but we survived.

I received this box, and there was a letter and Spanish Fork News! Wow, I was excited! Packing peanuts! It's snowing in California!
Looks good! The roof is broken but it still looks good! I can fix it with a little frosting mom sent and I can even put the chimney on! Where is Santa?!?
